| Weekend updates 2014/#44
--Start the weekly updates. Get things moving with at least 2 torsos, a few heads, and some weapons. These should be pictured and stocked before publishing the update.
--Going to have AW#1 and 2 back in stock and able to restock regularly again.
--Going to start having a few older sculpts reduced to 50% off for the week.
This being the first update, will be ready Sunday. So once everything hits the store (I'll add links here for you guys to post up everywhere. In the future the weekly updates should be ready by Friday.
Post up any questions or goals to be added that you guys may have.

| If you can get me whatever you're adding ahead of it being added, I can set up the Facebook page to automatically post it at a certain time. | |

| I'm working on the pictures now. As soon as the pictures are labeled and loaded, I will hide all the items not being released this weekend. I'll post the links when the updates are published. On the FB page some things I linked to the cart, so if I do it correctly, should show up in the store area there. Not everybody notices them so posting an update here on the forum front page and the fb news feed should help. The forum front page does not get much traffic, but it allows us to copy/paste, edit, preview, etc. the update information collectively. We can then use that as the "official release" to be distributed everywhere else.

| O.K., I'm getting the bugs worked out of the new listings now. I think it might be better to schedule the updates for Mondays as I'll have the most time to work on things Sunday night. I'll post up again as soon as I publish the changes. | |

| Crap, didn't see this when it was posted. I'll have these on FB sometime in the next few hours. As for KICC's stuff, maybe we should spread that out through the week, since we're already going to have Krexx's stuff (already posted this morning) and the new stuff in the store posted this afternoon. Hit me with the metadata stuff whenever you want. My only concern is that I won't recognize a character and so can't accurately tag them. | |

| Just saw it, thank you you for doing that. I'm gonna run a few errands and then get cracking on some more work. I figure if we aim for some kind of news update every week, it can help. I'm going to see if we can't get some kind of weekly or monthly message from the artists too. If Jose can possibly do a brief write up on one or two of his sculpts (a possible bio or quick story) people might find it interesting. With Ben, I'd like to set something up to promote the rest of the wave 1 Plague Wars figures when they are ready. | |

| I just shared the KIC gallery on FB.
Is there any reason that we can't do the same for other customizers, if they post a gallery or pic of something made with our products? I know we particularly want to feature MSWI and KeepItClean, but it might be beneficial to both us and them if we shared other people's as well.

| I don't mind featuring others work, it's a good idea, but we would need their permission to use their images. I don't think most people would object, most would like the nod to their craft. | |

| Fair enough. So we could just ask if we can share it, and then do so if they approve. I'll keep that in mind moving forward. | |

| Less looking to showcase their work; more looking to demonstrate what can be done with our parts. Still, might be a good idea to ask people to post. Activity on the page is good. | |

| I restocked AW 1 and 2, worked on some fixes, the sale items will not debut until the automation codes are working 100%.....hopefully next week, but either way I'm working on it. The pictures are being redone for all the last batch and should start to show with the next publish for this Monday. Got a pretty measuring stick instead of my old construction tape measure. Hehe.....I never realized how ugly it is. I'll start a new thread with the plan for this Monday. | |

| Someone wants to know if it's possible to cast the blade runner gun in a clear orange/ translucent amber?
In general, is this kind of thing possible? Not sure how you'd want us to respond there.

| I posted a "catch all" to the question. In general if they make the request in advance of placing the order we can try most colors. It is set up that way so we have time to make it, add it to the inventory for them, and e-mail them back when it is ready. This way once the order is placed it still ships within one or two business days. Same applies to requests for large quantities of any single item. We typically only have 3-5 copies in stock at a given time, but can accommodate army building with the same process. | |

| I don't know if those were broken off a larger axe, or even meant to be a pair. I had the original piece and an extra so I listed them as a pair. They essentially are large blades that can be used to make an axe, can be mounted on a vehicle bumper (Mad Max style), popped on the bottom of a rifle, etc. Jose may know what the original intent/piece is, but I liked them as base components and just listed them as is. | |
